This site is dedicated to the memory of John Wrigley
John was born in Prestbury, Cheshire on 29 June 1950 and lived his 60 years and 10 days to the full. His infectious enthusiasm, inquisitive mind, dry humour, kindness and generosity are deeply missed. He will live on as his family and friends continue the wide-ranging passions and pursuits that he shared and often inspired.

Thoughts
Thinking of you today and planning to go for a walk in the Cotswolds tomorrow. Whenever I go for a country walk I think of you and all the times when I was little and used to moan about it! No idea why as I love walking now, probably mostly because it reminds me of you xxx

It's been funny been moving back to England when you're not here. Reminders of you are scattered in places, people, even food and sudoku puzzles. In this wintry November you would probably be preparing to go somewhere warm for Christmas - South Africa perhaps. And you would send a postcard, such a wonderful, rare habit these days! These postcards from you capture enjoyable times and meaningful moments. Though missing you, I'm glad that you lived life well and grateful that you gave us the opportunities to do so as well.
